MarTech & tagging services

Four disciplines, one engineer. Hire me for one of them or for the whole pipeline, from the first data layer event to the conversion your ad platform sees.

GTM, GTM Server-Side & Tealium implementation

One maintainable container your whole team can trust.

Web and server-side containers, designed, built and documented. I set up GTM Server-Side on your own subdomain or Tealium iQ and EventStream, migrate legacy tags, and leave naming conventions and a release process behind.

  • Google Tag Manager (web)
  • GTM Server-Side hosting & setup
  • Tealium iQ & EventStream
  • Container audits & migrations

Analytics infrastructure & measurement strategy

Numbers you can make decisions on.

It starts with a measurement plan tied to your business goals, then a data layer specification your developers can build against. I configure GA4 and validate every event against the spec before it reaches a report.

  • Measurement plan & KPI mapping
  • Data layer specification
  • GA4 configuration
  • Tracking QA & validation

Conversion APIs & paid media tracking

Ad platforms with enough signal to optimize.

Server-side conversions for Meta, LinkedIn and Google Ads, deduplicated against the browser pixel and enriched only with consented first-party data. HubSpot tracking connected, so a lead can be traced from ad click to deal.

  • Meta Conversions API
  • LinkedIn Conversions API
  • Google Ads enhanced conversions
  • HubSpot tracking & custom events

Not sure which one you need? That's what the discovery call is for.

MarTech & Analytics Engineer

  • Certified Tealium Professional
  • Certified Data Protection Officer (DPO)

I've worked on data and tracking for teams at Allianz, BMW, Motorola Solutions and other global brands, in past roles and projects. Today I work directly with marketing, analytics and engineering teams as a freelancer: I write the data layer spec, build the containers and validate the result before handover.

No juniors, no account managers. You work with the engineer who builds it.

* Freelance consulting is provided solely as an independent private individual (t/a Anelitics), outside of employment hours and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of Motorola Solutions. To prevent conflicts of interest, consulting services exclude direct competitors of my employer and high-risk verticals (gambling, crypto, adult content). // so Meta and LinkedIn count it once

I don't just configure tags; I build the data architecture underneath. Every implementation is version-controlled, documented and built to survive frontend updates.

How a project runs

Clear steps, written scope and a handover your team can own.

  1. Free discovery call

30 minutes on your stack, your goals and what's broken. You leave with a clear next step, whether or not we work together.

  2. Audit & measurement plan

I review your containers, consent setup and data flows, then send a written proposal with scope and price.

  3. Implementation

Built in staging first and released in versioned containers, with your developers working from the same data layer spec.

  4. Validation & handover

Every event is checked against the spec, in debug tools and in the platforms, then documented so your team can own it.

Questions buyers ask first

Do you work with Adobe Analytics or Adobe Launch?

No. I focus on Google Tag Manager, GTM Server-Side and Tealium, so every project gets deep expertise rather than a shallow pass across every vendor. If your stack is built on Adobe, I'm not the right fit.

Do we need GTM Server-Side?

Not always. Server-side tagging pays off when ad blockers and browser cookie limits cost you conversions, when you send data to several ad platforms, or when you want control over what third parties receive. For a small site with a few tags, a clean web container is often enough. That's what the discovery call is for.

GTM or Tealium: which should we use?

Both are solid. GTM suits most teams on the Google stack: the web container is free, and server-side only needs cloud hosting. Tealium iQ and EventStream suit enterprises that need vendor-neutral governance across many brands and destinations. I implement both, so the recommendation follows your needs, not what I sell.

What does a Consent Mode v2 setup include?

Consent defaults that load before any tag, updates triggered by your CMP, the ad_user_data and ad_personalization signals, regional settings where you need them, and a tag-by-tag check that nothing fires before consent. You get a short written record of what was tested.

Can you work with our consent platform?

Yes. I integrate OneTrust, Cookiebot and Usercentrics, and any other CMP that offers a Consent Mode v2 integration or a JavaScript API. Custom banners can be connected through the data layer.

Is cookieless tracking a way around consent?

No. Dropping cookies does not drop the consent requirement: EU ePrivacy rules cover any storing or reading of information on a device, and GDPR still applies to personal data. I design setups that stay measurable within those rules.
